If you do not agree, do not use the Website, submit information through the Website, or rely on any Website content.

No Attorney-Client Relationship Without Written Agreement

An attorney-client relationship is formed only if and when Accord & Shield Legal, PLLC expressly agrees to represent you in a written engagement agreement signed or otherwise accepted by the firm and you have satisfied any required conflict check, identity verification, retainer, and onboarding requirements. Until that occurs: Accord & Shield Legal, PLLC does not represent you; the firm has not agreed to protect your interests; no attorney-client duties arise except to the limited extent required by applicable professional-conduct rules for prospective clients; you should not assume the firm will monitor deadlines, file documents, preserve rights, respond to communications, or take action on your behalf; and you remain responsible for all legal deadlines and obligations.
Do Not Send Confidential or Time-Sensitive Information Before Engagement
Do not send confidential, proprietary, trade secret, privileged, highly sensitive, or time-sensitive information through the Website, email, online forms, scheduling tools, voicemail, or other non-secure channels unless and until Accord & Shield Legal, PLLC has agreed in writing to represent you and has instructed you to send the information. If you submit information before an attorney-client relationship is formed, Accord & Shield Legal, PLLC may review it solely to determine whether the firm can or wishes to represent you. The firm may decline representation for any reason, including conflicts, capacity, fit, jurisdiction, scope, or business reasons.
Prospective Client Communications

No Guarantee of Results
Accord & Shield Legal, PLLC does not guarantee any legal, business, regulatory, trademark, employment, contract, litigation, transactional, negotiation, or other result. User Responsibilities

Any online scheduling tool, payment link, consultation request, or intake form is provided for convenience and does not guarantee attorney availability, acceptance of representation, or formation of an attorney-client relationship. Consultations may be subject to separate terms, fees, conflict checks, cancellation policies, and engagement terms. Payment of a consultation fee, retainer, invoice, or other amount does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship unless accompanied by the firm’s written agreement to represent you. If representation is accepted, the signed engagement letter controls the scope of representation, fees, payment terms, consultation limitations, excluded services, client responsibilities, deadlines, dispute-resolution provisions, and other engagement-specific terms.
Electronic Communications and Security
Electronic communications, including email, online forms, scheduling platforms, SMS, voicemail, and internet-based communications, may not be secure. By contacting the firm electronically, you consent to receiving communications by electronic means, subject to applicable law and any later written instructions from the firm. Accord & Shield Legal, PLLC uses reasonable safeguards but does not guarantee that Website communications, emails, or third-party platforms will be secure, uninterrupted, error-free, or immune from interception, loss, delay, corruption, or unauthorized access.
Third-Party Services and Links
The Website may link to or integrate with third-party services, including scheduling platforms, payment processors, analytics providers, website hosts, email providers, client intake systems, social media platforms, mapping tools, or external legal resources. Intellectual Property

Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Accord & Shield Legal, PLLC and its owners, attorneys, employees, contractors, agents, vendors, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to: (1) your use of the Website; (2) your violation of these terms; (3) your submission of information; (4) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (5) your misuse of Website content.
Dispute Resolution; Governing Law; Forum
These Website Terms and any dispute arising from or related to the Website, Website content, non-client communications, or pre-engagement interactions are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable professional-conduct rules, privacy laws, consumer-protection laws, or other mandatory laws require otherwise. Subject to any non-waivable rights under applicable law, any dispute arising from or related to the Website or these terms must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts. Nothing in this section governs disputes arising from an attorney-client engagement if a separate engagement agreement provides different terms.
Time to Bring Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim arising from or related to the Website, Website content, non-client communications, or these terms must be brought within one year after the claim accrues, or it is permanently barred. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
California Users; Mandatory Rights Preserved
Nothing in these terms is intended to waive or limit any non-waivable right available under California law, including non-waivable privacy, consumer, professional-responsibility, or ethics protections. If a provision is unenforceable as applied to a California user, it will be limited only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its protective purpose to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Changes to Website or Terms
Accord & Shield Legal, PLLC may update, suspend, discontinue, or modify the Website or these terms at any time. Updated terms are effective when posted unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Website after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
SMS Terms of Service
Program Description: Accord & Shield Legal, PLLC sends SMS messages to clients and prospective clients regarding their inquiry or matter, including appointment scheduling and reminders, case-related communications, and billing notifications.
Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP. After you send STOP, we will send a message to confirm you have been unsubscribed and you will receive no further messages. To rejoin, sign up again as you did the first time.
Support: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP, or contact us at connect@accordshield.com or (623) 239-2682.
Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Fees and Frequency: Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.
Consent: Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of legal representation or of any purchase.
Privacy: Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services. If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our Privacy Policy.
Severability; No Waiver; Entire Website Agreement
If any provision of these terms is held invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect, and the invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Attorney Advertising and Legal Disclaimer, are the entire agreement governing Website use, except for any separate written engagement, consultation, payment, or client agreement.
